history

Country Park is a good example of measured architectural politic, thoughtful and responsible development.

It was ten years ago when the Country Park history began.

2001

In the year of 2001, when Country Park existed only on paper, a narrow silty river was taking its place.

2002

Construction of the first Country Park building began. On a warm spring day a coin was laid in the footing of the first building. Its concept was notably ahead of time and established several trends on the Moscow commercial property market at once. The largest global brands such as BMW, Metro Group, Nutricia, Porsche, VOLVO, etc. become the tenants.

When the project started, neither the realtors, nor the banks or the tenants themselves would admit so much as a thought that high-grade property could be situated beyond the Garden Ring Road of Moscow. And what more, beyond the Moscow Ring Road. However, time has shown that this concept is especially successful and strongly sought-for specifically in the conditions of an over-loaded metropolis. This format is widely used all over the world. The novelty is that nobody did it in Russia before us.

2003

The works on the complex site landscaping and clearing of Butakovskiy bay which eventually turned into one of the most picturesque parts of the Moscow Region were started. In 2005 the Country Park was honored with a special prize of the Moscow Committee for Urban Development and Architecture for creation of comfort recreational environment.

2004

A piece of Europe on the Moscow Ring Road
“Sheared lawns, comfortable benches, linden avenue, access way to the bay, trout and starlet in the pond… And in the middle of this country idyll there dominates the modern office complex “Country Park”. Its name speaks for itself — Race Communications, the project developer, has made everything to turn the area on the shore of Butakovskiy bay on the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road into a real European village”.

Commercial Real Estate Magazine — 2004

The Country Park is named the best project in the sphere of commercial property in the Moscow Region.

In November 2004 the presentation of “Submarine” — the first in the series of sculptures created specifically for the Country Park by Andrey Nalich — took place. The artwork was established as a token of gratitude to Sberbank of Russia for its great contribution to implementation of the project. Soon it was accompanied by other master’s sculptures — “Airplane”, “Helicopter”, “Bird” and “The Khimki Meridian”.

In the midst of the intolerable Moscow heat many celebrities from the capital decided to treat themselves with simple summer pleasures. This is why they arrived on July 15 to the opening of the Chalet Simple Pleasures restaurant with the pier for yachts and motor boats. Fresh air, summer landscape, scenically attractive environment with brooks bridges and embankment… What else may a mind and heart wish to escape from the city fuss and day-to-day strained pace of living!

On the last day of 2009 a skating-rink with combined ice resurfacing system was opened in the Country Park, allowing skating at +15 degrees. Besides office areas, it included a congress-hall and the Russian-German medical centre — the unique project of BPS International and the leading German clinics in the field of orthopedics and traumatology.

The first real season of the “Country Park Club” yacht-club is opening. Modern well-furnished piers are designed for 54 parking places for yachts and motor boats. Today the “Country Park Club” became one of the most developed marines of the Moscow Region: a restaurant and a café, beauty studio, small designers’ shops, an art-gallery, and even a swimming-pool with the clear water supply system work there. And from this season the headquarters of the Swedish Nimbus yachts distributor and the yacht school is situated at the yacht club.
