A Prestigious Award: Mobile Employees service was Appreciated at the GTB Innovation Awards

Mobile Park and Mobile TeleSystems, the leading telecommunication operator in Russia and CIS, got the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award 2013 in the category Business Service Innovation.

The award was conferred for Mobile Employees business-to-business service allowing tracing employees and transporting location on a detailed electronic map, receiving automatic reports on all the movements, including data on car mileage and fuel consumption in cases when the route optimisation is needed. Both ordinary mobile phones and GPS/GLONASS receiver equipment can be used for the location data transmission.

Mobile Employees service entered the market in 2005 available for clients in Moscow and Moscow region, now it is available to all the corporate clients of MTS throughout Russia. In 2012, Mobile Park and MTS launched MTS Coordinator mobile application for smartphones based on Android OS, which enhanced the functionality of the Mobile Employees service. The application is integrated with the NFC technology that allows using a smartphone together with NFC terminals to report the arrival to the destination point or during receiving and transferring of material values.
