Architectural Competition Winners Rewarding at HSWT University05.07.2013 A ceremony of prize awarding to the winners at the student competition in the best design of the fountain for the business center “Country Park” in Moscow, announced by BPS, took place on July 2, 2013, at HSWT University – Hochschule Weihenstephan.
Approximately sixty students of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, considered one of the best in Europe, participated in the competition. The winner was decided by the jury under the chairmanship of Leonid Lopatin, Managing Partner of BPS International, and Ingrid Schegk, professor at the department of Landscape Architecture. The competition’s initiator Tobias Schmidt, Head of BPS International Technology Subdivision, presented honorary certificates and prizes to the six students who won the competition. Having presented the prizes Dmitriy Kats, BPS Chief Architect, suggested new topics for further cooperation, for instance, Orenburg municipal park arrangement in front of the Hilton Garden Inn. Dmitriy Kats confirmed that BPS intends to intensively develop cooperation with universities and considers it a possibility for students to receive work experience in successful architectural and interdisciplinary projects on an international scale. Promotion of cultural and business relations between Russian and German universities and companies is an important task for BPS International. 09.07.2013 |
