The City of dreamThe first children’s speed drawing contest "The city of dream" took place en plein air in the multipurpose complex "Country Park" located in Khimki on the 6-th of October. The contest coincides with anniversary celebrations of the city of Khimki. Young artists, their parents and teachers have gathered together.
More than one hundred children came to the embankment of Butakovsky bay of the Khimki water reservoir. They have brought paints, painting-boxes and drawing easels. Young artists aged from 6 up to 17 had only two hours to make their drawings about the favorite city. This contest was organized by the company BPS International and supported by the Khimki art gallery named after S.N. Gorshin, by the city administration of Khimki, and by the publishing house «Art School». The winners were awarded not only by diplomas, but also by valuable prizes, including Apple iPad tablet PCs. All work pieces of the drawing contest will be presented in Country Park art gallery in a week. The exposition "The City of Dream" will be opened for one month.
