Solo exhibition of the Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation Igor TikhonovIgor Tikhonov is a painter, graphic artist, master of the theatre and cinema, the professor of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (Visual Arts Department). The exhibition in Country Park is confined to the master’s jubilee — this year Igor Vsevolodovich is 60. Igor Tikhonov is primarily working in the area of easel work and graphics. His favourite genres are portrait, landscape, historical picture, and graphics. His works are peculiar with clear cut individuality, philosophicity, love for human being and nature. Igor Tikhonov graduated from Moscow Art School named after Tomskiy and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography named after Gerasimov. He participated in more than 60 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including Belgium (Brussels), Germany (Essen, Dusseldorf, Veldbert, and Cologne), Finland (Helsinki, Turku), Japan (Osaka) and others.
